Greetings Saints,
It has been some time since I last wrote. My prayers are continually with you though.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples
indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32
To believe is a choice. Not just a one time choice, but a continual choosing. Here the exhortation is to a group of believers to continue believing. You could say it this way. After you have made the choice to believe, then continue to choose to believe the Word instead of contrary evidences that may arise.
Anyone can say to the mountain, be thou removed, but not everyone can continue to believe when it does not appear to move.
And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Mark 11:22 AMP
Constantly, continuously, or continually, believe God, not the problem. This is discipline, disciples, highly trained ones, skilled professionals in the art of believing and receiving.
The facts may say one thing, but the truth will change the facts! Get to know the Truth. Fellowship with Truth. Love the Truth. Cherish the Truth, make Him your intimate friend for He will make you free.
The only way to do this is continuance. Keeping on keeping on. Knowing the word always prevails. You must determine to continue making the decision to believe God and nothing else.
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:40
Here is the glory of God. To believe. Here is where we see the glory manifest in our lives on earth, just believe. Jesus said, if we will believe we will see the glory!
Look at John 3:36, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Hmmm, everlasting life or the wrath of God?? Not a hard choice it would seem. Watch the way the choice is presented daily and check yourself to see if you are truly in the faith. Continue in the Word and have everlasting life or begin to believe anything else and experience the wrath of God. It is up to you. The Word never changes only the circumstances do.
